Charlotte Flair segment announced for WWE SmackDown
WWE has announced a new segment for SmackDown.
The company revealed on Thursday that the new SmackDown Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair, will appear on Friday’s show.

Flair returned to WWE after an eight-month absence on the December 30, 2022 episode. She challenged and defeated Ronda Rousey in an impromptu match to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship for the seventh time. Flair is also a six-time Raw Women’s Champion, two-time NXT Women’s Champion, and one-time Divas Champion.
WWE SmackDown on Friday, January 6, 2023, will take place from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. According to WrestleTix, 7,728 tickets for the show have been distributed as of yesterday. The announced lineup is as follows:
- Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship: The Usos (c) vs. Drew McIntyre & Sheamus
- Royal Rumble qualifying match: Ricochet vs. Top Dolla
