Charlotte Flair-Rhea Ripley segment set for next week’s WWE SmackDown
Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley will go face-to-face on next week’s WWE SmackDown.
Flair, the SmackDown Women’s Champion, and Ripley, the 2023 Royal Rumble winner and Flair’s WrestleMania 39 opponent, were announced for the segment during this week’s SmackDown episode. Ripley is set for tag team action at Saturday’s Elimination Chamber event, as Ripley and Finn Balor face Beth Phoenix and Edge.
After issuing a warning to the winner of Saturday’s Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley match during this week’s SmackDown, Bray Wyatt will host the Firefly Funhouse on next week’s episode.
Rey Mysterio vs. Karrion Kross in singles competition has also been announced for the February 24 SmackDown. Mysterio and Kross squared off in a singles match on the January 27 SmackDown, with Mysterio coming away with the victory. Both were also involved in a four-way number one contender’s match on the February 10 SmackDown, where Madcap Moss pinned Mysterio to earn a shot at Gunther on this week’s show.
