Charlotte ends Asuka’s undefeated streak at WWE WrestleMania 34

Charlotte was, in fact, ready for Asuka.

Asuka suffered her first loss tonight at WrestleMania 34, where Charlotte was able to submit her with the figure eight leg lock submission in a long, hard fought back and forth match. Following the bout, Asuka told Charlotte that she was, in fact, ready for her. The two hugged as Charlotte celebrated her win.

Signing with WWE in 2015, Asuka had been undefeated both in WWE and NXT since her debut, winning the NXT women’s championship and holding it for 510 days until August of 2017, where she vacated the title as she was due to be called up to the main roster. Later that year, she joined the Raw roster and had been undefeated up until tonight.

During her undefeated streak, Asuka picked up several accolades on the main roster, including winning the first ever women’s Royal Rumble and just this past week won the Mixed Match Challenge alongside the Miz.
