Bronson Reed issues statement on injury status

Bronson Reed is setting things straight on his injury status.

On social media Sunday, the WWE star posted a message regarding his current status, saying that he didn’t suffer a fracture, but broke his talus bone compeltely.

“I unfortunately smashed my talus bone completely in half, I had it surgically repaired with screws and fragments taken out,” he wrote. “Also had some bone marrow taken from my hip and put into my foot.”

Reed wrote that as a result of the injury, he won’t be appearing at any WWE events in the near future, including Raw’s premiere on Netflix, the Royal Rumble, or WrestleMania 41.

“Please keep up with me on social media at this time. Understand I’ve had a serious injury, undergone serious surgery, and have serious implications from that,” he wrote. “It’s not merely a fracture!”

Reed suffered his injury towards the end of the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, jumping off the cage and through a table, with his injury taking place upon impact. He underwent surgery to repair the damage last month.
