Bron Breakker: Sami Zayn is so good, working with him is a ‘bucket list thing’

Bron Breakker has enjoyed working with Sami Zayn during their Intercontinental title feud.

During an interview on the Getting Over wrestling podcast, Breakker said he’s having the time of his life since joining the WWE main roster. He’s excited for the future and is happy to be in a program with Zayn.

“It’s been great, man,” Breakker said about working with Zayn. “It’s been a heck of a time. You know, Sami is so good. Such a great dude. It’s just been a pleasure of mine to be able to share the ring with him. A bucket list thing for me. And I’m just excited for the years to come.”

Zayn managed to retain his Intercontinental title against Breakker at Money in the Bank. It looks like they’ll be facing each other again at SummerSlam next month, potentially in a triple threat match with Ilja Dragunov added. Breakker interrupted a Zayn vs. Dragunov title match on Raw this Monday and laid out both of them.

When asked if there’s anyone in WWE who he’s looked up to as a mentor, Breakker named Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and CM Punk as people who have helped him. He said the locker room as a whole has been very welcoming and supportive.

Breakker was a two-time NXT Champion before being called up. If he wins the Intercontinental title at SummerSlam, it will be Breakker’s first title reign on the main roster.
