Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman set for WWE No Mercy

The main event for the WWE Raw brand’s next pay-per-view has been set, and it is big in every sense of the word.
It was announced on Raw Monday that WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will defend his title against Braun Strowman at No Mercy on Sunday, September 24 in Los Angeles, CA. This was set up earlier in the show, when Strowman came out and delivered two running powerslams to Lesnar, incapacitating him.
The two had been teasing a confrontation in recent months. It escalated yesterday at SummerSlam during the fatal four way main event. The two went at it with Strowman laying out Lesnar with two powerslams through two different tables. Lesnar was stretchered out after the assault, but came back to the ring to eventually win the match and retain his gold.
Lesnar has held the Universal title since WrestleMania 33 when he defeated Goldberg to win the title.
