Brock Lesnar set to return on next week’s WWE Raw

Brock Lesnar will return to Raw next week following his actions on last week’s program.

On Monday’s show, it was announced that Lesnar will return to Raw next week in Little Rock, Arkansas. He will answer Cody Rhodes’ challenge for a match at Backlash, which was made earlier in the program.

Rhodes came out for a promo during Raw and talked about how his story now has a new wrinkle in Lesnar. He said he had heard a lot of theories as to why Lesnar attacked him, but assumed it was because Lesnar was uncertain about the future Rhodes is bringing to WWE. He admitted that he was scared of Lesnar, but still wants to fight him. He challenged Lesnar to a match at Backlash next month in Puerto Rico, asking Lesnar to answer the call.

The Raw after WrestleMania saw Lesnar offering to team with Rhodes against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Before the match began, however, Lesnar attacked Rhodes. For the next ten minutes, Lesnar brutally assaulted Rhodes before eventually planting him with an F5 on the steel steps.
