Brock Lesnar returns at WWE SummerSlam, confronts Reigns

Brock Lesnar returned to WWE at tonight’s SummerSlam event, starting down Roman Reigns.
Lesnar made a surprise appearance following the main event, which had Roman Reigns retain the Universal title over John Cena. Reigns was celebrating in the ring when Lesnar came out sporting a new look, with longer hair and a full beard. He entered the ring and stared down Roman as the two exchanged words, with Paul Heyman cowering in a corner. The show ended with Roman and Heyman retreating to the back as Lesnar stood in the ring.
After the show had ended, Lesnar attacked Cena, who was still recovering from the match, giving him two suplexes before laying him out with an F5. Cena eventually recovered and his music played as the show officially ended with him playing to the crowd.
Lesnar’s last WWE appearance was at WrestleMania 36 last year, when he lost the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre. He remained away from WWE during the shows held at the WWE Performance Center and later the WWE Thunderdome.
