Brock Lesnar declares himself a ‘free agent’ on WWE SmackDown

Brock Lesnar made a surprise appearance on Friday’s WWE Draft edition of SmackDown, getting into an altercation with Universal Champion Roman Reigns and later declaring himself a free agent.
As Paul Heyman was running down Lesnar alongside Reigns, saying that “Crown Jewel will not be held in Suplex City” and that Reigns was “the suplexorcist,” Lesnar’s music hit and he stalked Reigns around the ring, staring him down.
Lesnar got into the ring and after some jaw-jacking, both men began throwing down. Reigns got the brief advantage before hitting two belly-to-back suplexes to send Reigns outside the ring. The Usos then appeared and also got the Suplex City treatment before each man got an F5 as Reigns and Heyman looked on from the ramp. Reigns teased getting back in the ring and chose not to.
Later in the show, a jubilant Lesnar interrupted a Jeff Hardy promo to make a public announcement that thanks to Heyman, he is a free agent and gets to do what he wants to do.
Afterward, Reigns and the Usos were in a dressing room with Heyman, who was in tears. Reigns was upset that Jimmy and Jey were not drafted to SmackDown Friday to which Heyman said there were negotiations behind the scenes happening to make that happen. Reigns then ordered Heyman to go to Raw Monday night to ensure that happens. After he left the room, Reigns told the Usos they were also to go to Raw and if they weren’t drafted to SmackDown, “leave him for dead on Raw.”
Reigns was drafted to SmackDown with the first overall pick Friday. He will defend the title against Lesnar at Crown Jewel on Thursday, October 21st.
