Braun Strowman returned from injury on Friday.

Strowman had been out of action since sustaining a torn groin in his Last Monster Standing match against Bronson Reed on the September 30 edition of WWE Raw. He returned to the ring in a dark match following the November 15 WWE SmackDown, teaming with Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio in a win over Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, Carlito, and JD McDonagh.

The dark match had originally been Lee & Mysterio vs. Balor & McDonagh, but Carlito interfered, and Judgment Day had a 3-on-2 advantage. This led to Strowman’s surprise return and the match being turned into a six-person tag.

Strowman is also scheduled for Blizzard Brawl on December 7 in Waukesha, WI, an annual show put on by David Herro. Strowman will be the special referee of the main event.

Strowman says he tore his groin just two minutes into his match with Reed but was able to finish the bout and win, thanks to help from a returning Seth Rollins.

“Tore my Groin 2 minutes into the Last Monster Standing Match last week on #Raw and pained my way through that son of a b****. To yet again reminded the world I am The #MonsterOfAllMonsters,” Strowman wrote on Instagram following the injury.
