Bloodline segment, three matches set for next WWE SmackDown

Solo Sikoa will anoint Tonga Loa as a member of The Bloodline, plus three matches will take place on next week’s WWE SmackDown.
In the absence of Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa’s spot as de facto leader of The Bloodline was further cemented on this week’s SmackDown as he gave orders to Paul Heyman to confront Kevin Owens. A promo segment between Owens and Heyman broke down into a brawl as Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa came to the ring, only to be met by The Street Profits. Tonga and Loa then defeated The Profits in tag team action. As a result, Sikoa will officially anoint Loa as a member of The Bloodline on next week’s show.
Three matches are also set for the Friday, June 7 SmackDown.
Women’s Tag Team Champion Jade Cargill will face Indi Hartwell on next week’s show. The match stems from both a Tag Team title match at last week’s King & Queen of the Ring PLE where Cargill & Bianca Belair retained over Hartwell & Candice LeRae, plus a backstage confrontation between Cargill & Belair and Hartwell on this week’s SmackDown.
WWE Tag Team Champion Grayson Waller will take on Johnny Gargano on next week’s SmackDown as well. A feud between A-Town Down Under and DIY over the Tag Team titles has been set in motion, including in a singles match on this week’s SmackDown where DIY’s Tommaso Ciampa defeated A-Town Down Under’s Austin Theory.
Also set for next week, Apollo Crews will face Angel Garza. The match comes out of an angle on this week’s SmackDown where a distraction from Garza cost Crews a match against Andrade.
The announced lineup for the Friday, June 7 WWE SmackDown:
- Solo Sikoa anoints Tonga Loa as a member of The Bloodline
- Jade Cargill vs. Indi Hartwell
- Grayson Waller vs. Johnny Gargano
- Apollo Crews vs. Angel Garza
