Blair Davenport on WWE release: ‘I don’t have any negative feelings’

Blair Davenport has shared her thoughts on her WWE release.
During a livestream, the former WWE star was amicable about being released back in February, saying it was just business.
“I don’t have any negative feelings or anything like that. It’s just the job. It’s business. That’s just the way it goes, really.”
She said she was excited for what is to come in particular, including working independent promotions in the United States.
“I’ve never really done the indies here at all,” she said. “So yeah, I’m excited for the future.”
Later when someone in the chat was upset over her release, Davenport again said it was just part of the job, mentioning some of her friends in NXT including Lyra Valkyria, Cora Jade, Tiffany Stratton, and Giulia.
“You’ll definitely still see me wrestle somewhere or other, so yes, don’t worry. I’m not going to disappear forever.”
Davenport was featured in NXT UK and later was a part of NXT itself until she was moved up to the SmackDown brand as part of the 2024 WWE Draft. However, she only appeared a few times on television before ultimately disappearing.
