Becky Lynch qualifies for WWE Elimination Chamber match


Becky Lynch has qualified for the WWE Elimination Chamber.
Lynch defeated Shayna Baszler on Monday’s Raw in the first of a series of qualifying matches to determine the participants for the women’s Elimination Chamber set for the event of the same name in Perth, Australia on Saturday, February 24.
The winner of the Elimination Chamber match will go on to challenge the Women’s World Champion at WrestleMania 40.
Lynch vs. Baszler was the first qualifying match announced, with Liv Morgan vs. Zoey Stark set for next week’s Raw. Six participants will take part in the match to decide the WrestleMania title challenger.
Rhea Ripley currently holds the Women’s World title, and it was also announced during Monday’s Raw that Ripley will defend that belt against Nia Jax at Elimination Chamber.
Lynch vs. Ripley has been heavily teased as the eventual WrestleMania bout for the Women’s World Championship. Women’s Royal Rumble winner Bayley has already announced that she will challenge IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship in the other WrestleMania women’s title bout.
