Becky Lynch enjoying time away from ring, has ‘many options on the table’

Becky Lynch is enjoying her time away from the ring.
For nearly three months now, Lynch has been off WWE programming. She has not wrestled since losing to Liv Morgan on the May 27 episode of WWE Raw. Lynch’s WWE contract expired at the start of June, and it was expected that she would take an extended time off before eventually returning to WWE in the future.
Lynch joined former NFL star Julian Edelman on the latest episode of his Games With Names podcast. When asked how she’s doing right now, Lynch said everything is going great. She’s taking a breath to appreciate everything. Lynch has “many options on the table” right now.
“Oh, it’s great. It’s great,” Lynch said. “Everything is great. I’ve got my wonderful little family. I have many options on the table. And I get to — for the first time in a long time — take a bit of a breath to appreciate everything. Because when you’re on the road 52 weeks a year, non-stop, going from town to town. And then in the last three years, I added to the chaos by having a daughter who I would bring everywhere with me. And then on top of that, I decided it would be good to write my biography. So it was really — for especially the last year [or] two years — pure chaos. Now I’m taking a little bit more time. I’m taking a breath. I’m getting to look around the world. Getting to look at what I created and evaluate everything. And it’s been wonderful.”
A Biography: WWE Legends episode focused on Lynch premiered on A&E earlier this month. After it aired, Lynch made a reflective Instagram post saying it was an honor to be The Man.
“It’s been a helluva career,” she wrote. “Being the Man for all of you was an honor, being the mom for her is a privilege. Thanks for watching my bio on @AETV.”
Lynch’s husband Seth Rollins was asked about his wife’s status during an interview on the WWE Money in the Bank pre-show last month. Rollins said Lynch is doing great, but he can’t speak to her future.
