Bayley praises WWE women’s division: I’ve never seen everyone so on point

Bayley is thrilled with the current state of WWE’s women’s division.

After competing at house shows in Mexico over the weekend, Bayley posted a tweet on Monday reflecting on the experience and thanking the fans who came to the events. She also took some time to express how proud she is of her colleagues in the women’s division.

“Thank you Mexico! I’ll remember the shows we had this past weekend forever! I’m sore, got my azz beat, exhausted and still a champion! But I gotta say, I’m so damn proud of our women’s division,” Bayley wrote. “I’ve never seen everyone so on point at the same time. Pushing eachother and thriving!”

Bayley retained her WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair in Mexico City on Saturday before then taking part in a six-woman tag match in Monterrey on Sunday. It was Bayley, Belair & Jade Cargill defeating Liv Morgan, Shayna Baszler & Tiffany Stratton.

The house shows featured wrestlers from both the SmackDown and Raw rosters. Bayley is the current Women’s Champion on SmackDown while Morgan is the champion on Raw.

New WWE signee Stephanie Vaquer also debuted for the company in Mexico over the weekend, defeating Isla Dawn both nights. Vaquer will be starting her WWE career in NXT.

Bayley has a WWE Women’s Championship defense against Nia Jax set for SummerSlam on Saturday, August 3. Stratton, who holds the Money in the Bank briefcase, is being built up as a threat to Bayley’s title reign as well.

Recently, Bayley expressed that she believes now is the right time for WWE to hold another all-women’s Evolution event.
