Afa the Wild Samoan being released from hospital

Afa Anoa’i is headed home.
The WWE Hall of Famer was taken to hospital on Thursday with a case of pneumonia. He suffered a mild heart attack after being admitted and then another small heart attack on Friday.
On Sunday, the X account for Afa’s WXW promotion provided an update on his condition, noting that he will be going home shortly.

Afa’s official Facebook page posted a video of the 80-year-old saying he plans on going home and watching football later today.
Afa also had two exploratory procedures performed last month to check his heart valves. At the time, it was thought he might need valve replacement surgery. He also had to cancel a WXW seminar scheduled for January 13 due to medical concerns.
