VIDEO: The debate over Cody Rhodes’ loss continues

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez had more thoughts on Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania loss.
On Wrestling Observer Radio Tuesday morning, Meltzer mentioned that both Dustin Rhodes and Paul Heyman had brought up the idea that if Cody had won at WrestleMania, what would be next?
“He’d be defending the title against Brock Lesnar on [Backlash]!” Meltzer exclaimed. “He can defend against Lesnar. He can defend against Lashley. He can defend against Roman Reigns.”
Meltzer also brought up names such as Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn. Meltzer mentioned that with Reigns as champion, the list is significantly smaller.
“Essentially there’s probably about four times as many things that Cody can do, plus he’s going to be there more than Roman Reigns,” Meltzer said.
“Yeah, you name some things Roman can do, there’s already things we’ve already seen,” Alvarez said. “So if you want to talk about what new things would we see with Roman as champ, well, there’s nothing unless they turn Solo Sikoa or Jey Uso.”
Alvarez brought up the point that people also had asked who MJF would feud with if he were to turn babyface, mentioning people can always be turned to feud with one another, such as the Blackpool Combat Club.
