UFC on ESPN 34 live results: Vicente Luque vs. Belal Muhammad 2

The Octagon is back at the home base inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas after a few events away, for the first of three straight events to be held there, with this one headlined by a welterweight rematch that has title shot implications on the line.

Vicente Luque puts his four-fight win streak on the line against the seven-fight unbeaten streak of Belal Muhammad in the five-round headline bout. This is a rematch from when the two fought at UFC 205 in November 2016. That fight was won via a first-round knockout by Luque. Since then, Luque has gone 10-2, while Muhammad has gone 10-1 with one no contest.

Also on the main card is a middleweight battle of debuting fighters as Caio Borralho takes on Gadzhi Omargadzhiev, a welterweight clash between Miguel Baeza and Andre Fialho, a featherweight fight pitting Pat Sabatini against TJ Laramie, and a welterweight slugfest that sees Mounir Lazzez taking on Ange Loosa.

Ogden pressing forward and lands a right hand and a combo against the fence. Ogden slips on a kick and Leavitt gets on top and is in the guard of Ogden. Leavitt with some body punches from the guard. Ogden being very active from the bottom. Ogden goes for a guillotine from the bottom and moves to the mounted guillotine and it is in tight. They both come forward and we have a timeout due to a clash of heads. They get back to action and Leavitt landing leg kicks as Ogden is looking to land punches. Ogden with a right hand to the body. Both miss on some shots they throw as they clinch again. They break and both throw punches. They clinch again. Buday pressuring Barnett against the fence. Garcia with a right hand. They trade in close range. They trade with Garcia landing a combination. Ronson with a body kick. Garcia gets a takedown but they quickly get back to their feet. Garcia gets another brief takedown but they get right back up. They trade and Garcia lands a right hand. Garcia with a combination. 10-9 Garcia.

They trade and Ronson tries a takedown but Garcia shakes him off. Garcia gets a takedown. They get to their feet and Garcia lands a knee that looked to be illegal on the way up. Replays showed it was and Garcia gets a point deducted before they go back to action. Ronson lands a leg kick and Garcia gets a takedown. Garcia in the half-guard as they move to the fence. Garcia takes the back and is trying to find a choke as he moves back to the guard of Ronson. Garcia dominating from the top as he’s landing. He then takes the back. Garcia gets a rear-naked choke locked in and Ronson taps! Big win for Garcia.

Klose with a leg kick. They trade leg kicks. Jenkins with a snapping leg kick and Klose lands a big body kick. Klose tries a takedown and Jenkins grabs the fence but Klose is able to get the takedown and lands some punches from the back. They get to their feet and Klose has the back. Klose drags it down for a moment but they get right back up. They break. They trade leg kicks. Jenkins lands an elbow as they clinch. Klose with big uppercuts as he lands a lot and then lands some knees and is landing big shots in the clinch. They break and Klose with some big punches. Klose lands a couple of big right hands and Jenkins is in trouble. Jenkins does land a knee. They break. Jenkins with a leg kick and Klose lands an uppercut. Klose drops Jenkins with a right hand and jumps on top looking for a finish. Jenkins gets up and eats big punches from Klose. They clinch until the end of the round. 10-8 Klose.

Klose landing big shots to start the second and some big uppercuts and right hands and Jenkins falls down and it is all over. Big win for Klose.

They trade and clinch and Kianzad lands a knee. They break and neither land before they clinch again. They break and then clinch again and Kianzad has the back against the fence trying to get the hooks in. Kianzad landing punches from the back and Lansberg isn’t doing much to escape. 10-9 Kianzad.

They clinch to start the second and Lansberg lands an elbow as they break but they clinch right back up. They break and both land punches as Lansberg initiates a clinch against the fence. They battle in the clinch and break and we have a timeout to check the cut on Lansberg. Kianzad lands a left hook and they clinch and Kianzad lands to the body as Lansberg lands a knee. Kianzad gets the back and then goes to the front and lands a knee as they break. They break and are trading. Lansberg drops Kianzad with a right hand near the end of the second. 10-9 Lansberg, 19-19.

They trade to start the third with both landing. Kianzad landing with more volume as she landing with combinations throughout. Both women are bloody. Kianzad landing with more volume still and lands some knees in the clinch. Kianzad with a combination. 10-9 Kianzad, 29-28 Kianzad.

Clark with a body kick. Clark tries for a takedown but Knight defends against the fence and has the neck. Knight has a guillotine locked in. He lets go. They get up and Knight still has the neck against the fence. Knight lands a jumping knee as they break. Knight with a kick and lands some big punches and Clark is covering up. Clark tries for a takedown but Knight sprawls. They clinch and both land short knees. They break and Clark with a right hand. 10-9 Knight.

They’re throwing short punches to start the second. Clark lands a left hook. They trade inside leg kicks. Clark lands a right hand and gets a takedown. Clark with some elbows to the body and lands one to the head. Clark gets the full mount and is landing from the top. Clark with punches to the body from the top. Knight gives up his back but Clark slips out and Knight grabs Clark and gives him a German suplex. 10-9 Clark, 19-19.

Clark then starts to unload with punches and Knight goes down and it is all over. What a finish by Clark!

Sabatini is trying to get up a triangle choke from the bottom and now looks for an omaplata. They scramble to their feet and break. Laramie with a body kick and Sabatini grabs the leg and gets a big takedown. They scramble up near the fence and are clinched. They break to the center. Sabatini lands an uppercut. Laramie with a leg kick and they trade punches. They clinch against the fence. Sabatini lands a teet kick that hurts Laramie and then lands a head kick and Sabatini goes for a guillotine choke as they go to the mat. Laramie recovers and is on top and in the guard of Sabatini.
