UFC on ESPN+ 49 live results: Derek Brunson vs. Darren Till

Welcome to F4WOnline.com’s live coverage of UFC on ESPN+ 49: Brunson vs. Till, emanating from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The UFC kicks off the month of September, which has three events, with an afternoon show in Las Vegas, one that was originally planned to be the return to London before COVID restrictions kept it from happening. It features a lot of fighters from England, including one in the main event looking to get close to securing a title shot.

Middleweights Derek Brunson and Darren Till square off in the main event in a bout that could have title shot implications on it. The winner will likely be put it a title eliminator bout, though a win by Till could put him at the front of the line. Brunson comes in riding a four-fight win streak as he’s firmly established himself as a big-time measuring stick at 185 pounds. Till hasn’t fought since last July in Abu Dhabi, when he dropped a decision to Robert Whittaker.

Also on the main card is a heavyweight battle between young prospects Tom Aspinall and Serghei Spivac, a welterweight battle between Alex Morono and David Zawada, a light heavyweight bout that could bring fireworks as Modestas Bukauskas takes on Khaili Rountree, and popular British fighter Paddy Pimblett makes his long-awaited UFC debut, and it will be Luigi Vendramini welcoming him to the promotion in a lightweight fight.

Follow along with our live coverage of the event beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern time with preliminary action all the way through the main card.
