UFC on ESPN+ 2 live results: Assuncao-Moraes, Aldo-Moicano

Welcome to F4WOnline.com’s live coverage of UFC On ESPN+ 2: Assuncao vs. Moraes 2, emanating from Centro de Formacao Olimpica do Nordeste in Fortaleza, Brazil.
The Octagon heads back to Fortaleza for the first time since 2017 for the second event to air on ESPN+ with a bantamweight main event that has title shot implications, and the next fight for a future UFC Hall Of Famer in the co-main event.
Third-ranked bantamweight Raphael Assuncao takes on fourth-ranked bantamweight Marlon Moraes in the night’s five-round main event. It is a rematch of a June 2017 meeting at UFC 212, which Assuncao won by close split decision. That was in the midst of Assuncao’s current four-fight win streak, while Moraes has won three straight since, and both are looking to solidify their case for being the next in line for a title shot at 135 pounds.
In the co-main event, former UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo guns for his second straight win as he takes on Renato Moicano, who is on the cusp of a title shot and could get it with a win over the future Hall Of Famer. Also on the main card is a welterweight bout between Demian Maia and Lyman Good, and a lightweight bout that sees Charles Oliveira take on David Teymur.
Follow along with our live coverage of the event beginning at 5 p.m. Eastern time with preliminary action all the way through the main card.
