Three UFC fighters test positive for marijuana

Niko Price, Curtis Blaydes, and Abel Trujillo all tested positive for marijuana in drug tests taken after the February 4th UFC Fight Night show in Houston.

Texas has a lower threshold for a marijuana positive than other states, such as Nevada.

All three were suspended for 90 days and fined $1,000 by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations according to a story by Marc Raimondi of MMA Fighting.

The positive tests resulted in both Price and Blaydes having wins over Alex Morono and Curtis Milstead overturned. Price originally won by knockout and Blaydes won by TKO, but both fights have now officially been ruled no contests.

Trujillo lost his fight to James Vick by submission.

None of the three fighters were disciplined by USADA as their tests came in at below the limit that would be a positive while above the level in Texas that would be a positive.
