Updated main event for next ROH PPV

Ring of Honor announced today the updated main event for the May 12th War of the Worlds pay-per-view from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

Cody challenging for the ROH World Championship in a triple threat match had originally been announced as the main event, with him set to face whoever is champion after Christopher Daniels vs. Matt Taven for the title in Dearborn, Michigan on May 10th and the winner of a four-way that was taped last month. After that match aired on television, ROH announced that Jay Lethal was officially added to the triple threat at the PPV.

Lethal defeated Jay White, Silas Young, and Hangman Page in the four-way.

At War of the Worlds in New York, White will face Will Ospreay while Page will face Frankie Kazarian. No match has been announced for Young.

Lethal being in the match plays off of the feud that he’s had with Cody in ROH. Lethal previously defeated Cody in a Texas bullrope match in Florida over WrestleMania weekend.
