– Stacy Shadows defeated Sierra in a Women of Honor match

These were two local wrestlers from Brew City Wrestling.

Neither Bobby Cruise nor Scarlett Bordeaux was there as an announcer. Silas Young and Beer City Bruiser basically ran the show last night.

– The Motor City Machine Guns defeated The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Vinny Marseglia)

This match spilled into the crowd and to the bar area. Taven and Marseglia took shots of Jack Daniels during the match. The crowd chanted “shots” for all of Taven’s strikes as he promised to buy shots for the crowd several years back. MCMG got the win.

– Beer City Bruiser defeated Punishment Martinez, Shane Taylor, and Cheeseburger in a four-way match

This was a standard ROH four-way. Cheeseburger got ragdolled around and did comedy spots. Martinez was somewhat of a disappointment to me. BCB got the hometown rub and won the match.

– Adam Cole defeated Jay White

Both did solid work here. Cole hit multiple shining wizards and connected with a superkick off of a high-risk move from White. Hangman Page interfered and put a noose on White. As this happened, Romantic Touch (Rhett Titus under a mask) came out to make the save.

– Hangman Page defeated Romantic Touch

This was an impromptu match after the previous one.

– ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions Bully Ray & The Briscoes defeated War Machine & Dalton Castle in a Milwaukee street fight

This was easily the match of the night and the crowd was really into it. War Machine came out as Castle’s Boys. The match was announced as a Milwaukee street fight. They used chairs and beer cans, did hoss spots, and there was an impromptu peacock-off between Castle and Bully Ray that popped the crowd hard for at least five minutes.

Bully Ray did a table spot and put Castle through it for the win. He got on the mic and said he is happy to be in ROH and said he is happy to do that kind of match again. He was incredibly gracious to the crowd. He seemed excited to be there last night.

– Will Ferrara defeated Jared Jaxx

Jaxx is a local from BCW. Ferrara refused the Code of Honor and won by pin in a forgettable match.

– ROH World Television Champion Marty Scurll defeated Delirious

Scurll was super over. He’s an awesome, fresh character. He did the finger break spot, and since Delirious was barefoot, a toe-breaking spot as well. He won with the chickenwing.

– ROH World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks defeated The Addiction (ROH World Champion Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian)

As usual, the Bucks were the main attraction. There were plenty of Bullet Club, The Elite, and Young Bucks shirts in the crowd. Beer City Bruiser initially announced that The Addiction would not compete due to food poisoning. The Bucks then offered an open challenge, which The Addiction accepted dressed up as the Legion of Doom — Hawk Daniels and Animal Kazarian.

They had a great match. I’m sure these guys can do this in their sleep at this point. Bucks hit the Meltzer Driver for the win.

– Silas Young defeated Jay Lethal

This was a good match, but it started about three hours in. The crowd was kind of dead after the six-man and Young Bucks matches. Young got the win by pinfall. He’s so agile for a guy his size.

Overall, this was a very good show. The ROH roster seems pretty thin at this point. The Bucks are definitely the most over, though the six-man street fight stole this show. People walking out seemed to enjoy the show.

My biggest takeaway from it was that ROH came to Milwaukee in June 2016 with a show that had Moose, Lio Rush, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, Donovan Dijak, Kamaitachi, RPG Vice, Michael Elgin, ACH, Juice Robinson, and Roderick Strong. It’s pretty crazy how most of those guys are gone.
