ROH Death Before Dishonor date moved for second time

ROH Death Before Dishonor has been moved yet again.

Announced during Saturday’s AEW Collision, one of the quarterly-ish Ring of Honor streaming specials will now take place on Friday, August 29th instead of Friday, September 5th. The event will still take place at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, the former ECW Arena.

No reason was given for the change.

It will be part of AEW’s multi-event residency in Philadelphia that begins on Wednesday, August 27th and runs through September 11th with three Dynamites, three Collisions, and the ROH streaming special.

In April, AEW moved Death Before Dishonor from Friday, July 11th during All In week to September 5th, putting Supercard of Honor in its place instead.

ROH Death Before Dishonor history

This year’s show will be the 22nd Death Before Dishonor in ROH history, dating back to 2003. Several of the events were split into two nights and sometimes in two different cities — a practice that ended in 2014.

This will be the fifth Death Before Dishonor in Philadelphia and the first since 2021 which was prior to Tony Khan owning the company.
