Athena vs. Abadon Halloween Ring of Horror title match set for ROH TV
A spooky match will headline Thursday’s episode of Ring of Honor TV.
ROH Women’s World Champion Athena will defend her title against Abadon in a Halloween Ring of Horror match on the show.
On last week’s episode of ROH TV, Athena was presented with a brand-new title belt. However, Abadon interrupted the ceremony.
The match was taped on Saturday at AEW’s event in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Abadon is often booked for big matches around Halloween. In 2023, she unsuccessfully challenged then-AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida for the belt in a “Fright Night Fight” on October 28. In 2021, she was defeated by Britt Baker in a Trick or Treat match on October 27.
Three matches have been announced thus far for Thursday’s show.
