Tyrus proposes stipulation for NWA 75 match, will retire if he loses

Tyrus wants to up the stakes at NWA 75. 

The NWA World Heavyweight Champion is set to defend his belt on the show against EC3, who earned the title shot by cashing in the NWA National title.  

Tyrus recently announced on Instagram Live that he wants their title clash to be a Bull Rope match. In order to entice EC3 to agree to the stipulation, Tyrus said that he’ll retire if he loses. 

“I’ll make you an offer you cannot refuse,” Tyrus said. “I’m so passionate, I want this Bull Rope match, I want to be the bull in the woods, if you will, prove it at the Chase, at the 75, that I’m willing to put my career on the line as well. So, if EC3 wins the 12 pounds of gold against me in a Bull Rope match, not only will he be champion, I will retire.” 

NWA 75 takes place on August 26 & 27 at the Chase Ballroom in St. Louis, Missouri. The pay-per-view will be available on FITE TV.

  • NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille defends against Natalia Markova
  • NWA World Tag Team Champions La Rebelion (Bestia 666 & Mecha Wolf) w/Vampiro defend against Blunt Force Trauma (Damage & Carnage) w/Aron Stevens
  • Burke Invitational Gauntlet to earn a NWA World Women’s Championship title match. Participants announced: Allysin Kay, The WOAD, Taylor Rising, Sierra, Samanta Starr, Ruthie Jay, Heather Monroe, CJ, MJ Jenkins, & TBA
  • The Fixers (Jay Bradley & Wrecking Ball Legursky) vs. Talos & Daisy Kill

NWA 75 night two 8/27:

  • NWA World Heavyweight Champion Tyrus defends against EC3 (Tyrus has proposed a Bull Rope stipulation, and says he’ll retire if he loses, although this has yet to be made official)
  • Winners of La Rebelion vs. Blunt Force Trauma from night one defend the NWA World Tag Team Championships against Trevor Murdoch & Mike Knox
  • Winner of Kamille vs. Markova defends the NWA World Women’s Championship against the winner of the gauntlet match on night one
  • NWA United States Tag Team Champions The Country Gentleman (AJ Cazana & Anthony Andrews) defend against the winners of The Fixers vs. Daisy Kill & Talos from night one

NWA 75 matches with no announced date:

  • NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Kerry Morton w/Ricky Morton defends against Colby Corino w/Jamie Stanley
  • JR Kratos vs. Odinson vs. Silas Mason w/Pollo Del Mar in a triple threat match for the vacant NWA National Heavyweight Championship
