Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch bailed out of jail following DUI manslaughter arrest

WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch has been bailed out of jail following her arrest in relation to a fatal car crash.

Court records show that Sytch was bailed out of jail at 12:14 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday. A $227,500 surety bond was posted by a Volusia County, Florida bail bondsman service.

Sytch was arrested on Friday and is facing nine charges relating to a March 25 car accident where a 75-year-old man was killed. Prior to Sytch being arrested, police suspected Sytch of DUI in the crash and were waiting for toxicology results to come back.

Sytch is facing the following charges:

• DUI causing the death of a human or unborn child (second degree felony)
• Driving with a suspended or revoked license and causing death or serious injury (third degree felony)
• Seven counts of DUI with damage to person or property (first degree misdemeanor)

Last month, the Ormond Beach Police Department issued a press release about the fatal crash:

On March 25th, at approximately 8:28 p.m., a crash involving three southbound vehicles took place on United States Highway 1 (North Yonge Street), just north of State Road 40 (Granada Boulevard). Two of the vehicles were stopped for the traffic signal, with one stopped behind the other. The third vehicle was southbound on United States Highway 1. That vehicle failed to stop and crashed directly into one of the stopped vehicles, causing that vehicle to then crash into the other vehicle in front of it.

The driver of the vehicle who failed to stop was identified as Tamara Lynn Sytch. Ms. Sytch was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center for treatment, and later released after a search warrant was approved and executed to obtain a sample of her blood for investigation of impairment.

The driver of the second vehicle involved was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. He has been identified as Julian Lafrancis Lasseter of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida.

The driver and passengers in the third vehicle suffered injuries, but were not transported to the hospital.

Lasseter’s estate has filed a lawsuit against Sytch and her boyfriend James Pente.

Sytch has been arrested for driving under the influence at least six times prior to this most recent arrest.
