Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch arrested on nine charges following fatal traffic accident

Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch has been arrested in relation to a fatal car accident from March.

PWInsider reported this evening that Sytch was arrested tonight in Ormond Beach, Florida on nine charges, including DUI causing the death of a person (DUI manslaughter), driving with a suspended or revoked license causing death or serious injury, and seven counts of DUI causing damage to a person or property. Sytch could face up to 30 years in prison if convicted. Her bond is currently $200,000 for the DUI manslaughter charge and $27,500 for the remaining charges.

An Ormond Beach Police Department report stated that on March 25, Sytch, who does not have a valid driver’s license, crashed into Julian L. Lasseter’s stopped vehicle at “a high rate of speed”, causing his death. Upon impact, Lasseter crashed into a third vehicle. The driver and the passengers of the third vehicle were not hospitalized, but complained of neck, back, side, and head injuries following the collision.

Authorities had not arrested Sytch in the days after the incident as they were awaiting toxicology reports from a blood sample obtained while Sytch was hospitalized.

A civil lawsuit was filed on April 12 against Sytch and the owner of the vehicle Sytch was driving, boyfriend James F. Pente, by the estate of Lasseter. The suit alleges negligence on the part of Sytch and Pente and is seeking ‘in excess of’ $30,000.
