Odyssey Jones’ former partner details acts of alleged abuse

Days after former WWE wrestler Odyssey Jones released a statement saying he was taking legal action due to false claims of domestic violence, the woman who made the accusations has provided further details regarding her side of the story, providing other examples of his alleged acts.
In an interview with POST Wrestling, the woman (who requested anonymity both due to the nature of the accusations and that she is not a public figure) alleged that Jones (Omari Palmer) engaged in physical abuse on both May 17, 2024, and then again afterward.
Jones was abruptly removed from WWE TV in September 2024 right after he had just started in a main roster program with The New Day. In a social media statement made last Saturday, Palmer denied the accusations and said the “false claims are coming from a party that I used to priorly engage with” and that he was waiting for an injunction to be granted in order to speak on the issues.
Jones posted the following after the story came out Wednesday:
On May 17 in Maitland, Florida, the accuser said Palmer got upset at her over “texting someone” and then “started throwing me around along with household items and my personal belongings.” The police report, filed on May 23rd, stated she was slammed to the floor twice and included photos showing bruises on her shoulders and both of her legs.
The report stated Palmer denied the allegations and that while he verified he was upset and throwing said items around their apartment, he did not throw them at her. He also said there was no physicality. The reporting officer requested that Palmer be charged with one count of battery.
According to POST, the case is still under review with the Orange County State Attorney’s Office and it’s undecided whether they will file charges.

She also told POST the two went on a planned cruise after the alleged incident due to his insistence, saying he continued to abuse her on the trip, resulting in a concussion, one of her phones being thrown in the ocean, and destroying their cabin.
From the POST report:
She alleged that he threatened to break her phones before leaving and insisted that she wasn’t going anywhere because the trip was already planned out. Palmer’s ex-partner told POST. “I told him I saw where this was going and I was going to leave because things were not going to go good on the cruise. It was repeated behavior so I saw it coming. He told me to sit my ass down and calm down, that we were leaving the following morning for the trip.”
In a petition for protection order that Palmer filed for and gained last September, he alleged she was physically violent against him on the cruise and that she was accusing him of being inappropriate with other women. He claimed he filed a police report against her, alleging stalking but the POST report stated there is no record of that. He also claimed the woman attacked him in a hotel in December 2023.
The two had been in a relationship since 2018. She said WWE investigated her claims, contacted her to discuss things, and that Palmer was released last September.
From the POST report:
“Palmer’s ex-partner says she is supportive of legal action against him in Orange County related to the potential battery charge. “I am no longer scared to speak up after he instilled fear in me for so long,” she said.“
