Nick Aldis vs. Trevor Murdoch World title rematch headlining NWA 73

NWA World Champion Nick Aldis will take on Trevor Murdoch in a rematch as the headliner for NWA 73 on August 29th.

The Sunday pay-per-view is the second of two straight PPVs for the NWA in St. Louis as they run the all-women’s Empower show the night before.

Murdoch earned the shot as his team won the recent Champions Series that gave the winning team seven title opportunities. Murdoch was screwed out of winning the title at June’s When Our Shadows Fall, losing by DQ after the referee saw Murdoch hit Aldis with a chair after Aldis had originally hit the referee with one.

• NWA World Champion Nick Aldis vs. Trevor Murdoch title match
• National Champion Chris Adonis vs. James Storm title match
• Tag Team Champions Kratos and Aron Stevens vs. La Rebelion title match
• A Women’s title match between the winner of champion Kamille vs. Leyla Hirsch at Empower vs. the winner of the Women’s Invitational Cup, also at Empower
• Mickie James vs. Kylie Rae
• Thom Latimer vs. Crimson vs. Tim Storm in a Brawl in the Lou match
• TV Champion Tyrus, The Masked Man and Jordan Clearwater vs. Pope and The End (Parrow and Odinson)
• 12-man battle royale for a future World title shot
