Multiple talents do not appear as advertised at GCW Devil In A New Dress

Multiple talents did not appear at Sunday’s GCW Devil In A New Dress show in San Francisco.

In addition to Bandido, Gringo Loco did not wrestle as advertised. No explanation was given. GCW has not responded to a request for comment on Loco not wrestling.

Additionally, Jacob Fatu did not appear at the show, although the promotion did announce that he had travel problems in getting to the event, and he was replaced by D-Rogue in his scheduled six-man tag team bout.

Biff Busick’s travel problems and inability to make Sunday’s show were announced in a tweet thread Sunday afternoon, and he will return to the promotion on April 30.

Busick was set to take on Masha Slamovich, while Loco was set for a bout with Jimmy Lloyd. Instead, Slamovich faced Lloyd on the show.

Bandido had been set to face Nick Wayne on the show. Instead, Wayne took on Effy in the opening contest.

Effy had issued an open challenge to Jeff Jarrett to appear at the event, but Jarrett did not show either, although he was not explicitly advertised.

A report from the show and full results can be found here.
