Scott D’Amore’s Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling plans to honor three legends of the original promotion.

In a press release issued Monday, MLP announced it has signed Legends deals with the families of Bruiser Brody, Bulldog Brower, and “The Canadian Wildman” Dave McKigney. As part of the agreements, MLP will release limited edition merchandise for each legend, including trading cards and t-shirts. The legends will also be celebrated at MLP events and through digital content.

“Our goal at MAPLE LEAF PRO is to pay respect to the rich history of professional wrestling in Canada,” said MLP President Scott D’Amore. “These Legends deals are a way for us to shine a light on the trailblazers who paved the way for today’s stars and ensure their stories continue to inspire new generations.”

Maple Leaf Pro has also been highlighting historical moments involving the three legends on its social media:

Coming up next for Maple Leaf Pro is its debut on the grounds of the former Maple Leaf Gardens. Now known as the Mattamy Athletic Centre, the venue has been heavily renovated and is now the home of the Toronto Metropolitan University sports teams.
