Mike Tyson to appear at WrestleCon convention in Las Vegas

One of the most famous combat sports athletes of all time is set to appear at WrestleCon’s convention in Las Vegas.
Boxing legend Mike Tyson is the first talent confirmed for the convention, which is taking place at the Westgate Resort & Casino from April 17-20 during WrestleMania week. WrestleCon has not announced which days Tyson will be appearing. This marks the first time he’s been a guest at WrestleCon.
“We told you Vegas was going to be big! Our first of ~200+ talent announcements will deliver a knock out,” WrestleCon tweeted. “Welcome for the first time @MikeTyson to @wrestlecon courtesy of @FitermanSports”
A celebrity WWE Hall of Famer, Tyson’s association with the pro wrestling industry dates back decades. His most famous wrestling role came at WrestleMania 14 in 1998 when he served as the special enforcer for the main event match between Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels. Tyson has made a couple of AEW appearances in recent years.
In November 2024, the 58-year-old Tyson returned to boxing, losing to Jake Paul in a spectacle that was broadcast on Netflix.
WrestleMania 41 is taking place from Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20. It’s only the second time Las Vegas has ever hosted WrestleMania.
