Jon Moxley to defend GCW title against Tony Deppen at You Wouldn’t Understand


Jon Moxley’s next GCW World Championship defense is officially set.
The AEW star will make his return to Game Changer Wrestling at the promotion’s “You Wouldn’t Understand” event on Saturday, June 18. It was announced today that Moxley will put his GCW World Championship on the line against Tony Deppen at the show.
“You Wouldn’t Understand” is being held at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, New York and will air live via Fite TV.
Moxley has been GCW World Champion since winning the title from Matt Cardona in September 2021. He’s made successful title defenses against Nick Gage, Homicide, and AJ Gray.
This will be Moxley’s first GCW appearance since March.
Moxley will also be in action at “The People vs. GCW” on Friday, July 29. That show is being held at the Nashville Fairgrounds as part of Starrcast V.
