Joey Janela announces changes to ‘Senior Scramble’ lineup for Spring Break
A couple of changes have been made to the lineup for the first-ever “Senior Scramble” match at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 9.
Janela announced today that Doug Gilbert and Tommy Rich have both withdrawn from the scramble match and are being replaced by Robert Gibson and luchador Damian 666. The six-person bout will now be Ricky Morton vs. George South vs. The Warlord vs. Mike Jackson vs. Gibson vs. Damian 666.
“Doug Gilbert & Tommy Rich will be drinking Mikes hard lemonade in Myrtle beach instead haha,” Janela tweeted. “Replacing them in the Senior Scramble are Robert Gibson and Damian 666!”
Per the rules of the match, all competitors must be at least 55 years old. Gibson is 66 years old while Damian is 63.
Gibson’s addition means that both members of The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express (Morton & Gibson) are now competing in this scramble.
Spring Break is taking place in Las Vegas this Friday with a start time of 10 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Pacific. It will stream live via TrillerTV+.
