Jim Ross: ‘My little angel is gone’

On Tuesday, WWE Hall-of-Famer and wrestling legend Jim Ross shared that wife Jan was in critical condition following a vehicle accident in Norman, Oklahoma.
On Wednesday, Jim gave an update on Twitter: “A Priest gave my wife Jan her last rites tonight. My little angel is gone.”
They married in 1993 after the two were introduced by Ric Flair. They had no children.
Jan, 55, was traveling to the gym on a Vespa scooter on Tuesday night when she was struck from behind by a 17-year-old driving a car. She was tossed from the Vespa and suffered multiple skull fractures. She was not wearing a helmet.
From Dave Meltzer’s original post:
“Jim has talked and written extensively over the years about his wife, who is one of the nicest and sweetest people I’ve known in this industry. When he was the head of talent relations in WWE for years, she was considered the ultimate coach’s wife, which is not the easiest role in the world because of the 24/7 nature of that job. She was a flight attendant who met Jim when he was working at WCW in the early 90s.”
We will have more on this sad story on tonight’s Wrestling Observer Radio.
