Indi Hartwell announced for first US independent match post-WWE

Former NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell has been announced for her first independent match in the United States since being released from WWE.

House of Glory Wrestling announced Thursday night that Hartwell will make her in-ring debut for the promotion, and her first indie match in the US since leaving WWE last year, on its Saturday, March 15 City of Dreamz event in Jamaica, Queens, New York City. The show will stream live on Triller.

Hartwell’s opponent for the bout has yet to be announced.

The March 15 date is notable for House of Glory as AEW wrestler Mercedes Mone will also make her in-ring debut for the promotion on the same show. Mone’s opponent has also yet to be announced for the event.

House of Glory is a training school and indie promotion owned in part and operated by former TNA X-Division star Amazing Red.

Prior to stepping in the ring for HOG, Hartwell will return to the ring for the first time since being released by WWE last fall on an independent event in her native Australia this coming Sunday.

Hartwell was released last October and became a free agent in late January after sitting out her 90-day non-compete clause.
