GCW to make Korakuen Hall debut in October

Game Changer Wrestling has announced a show for October in one of the most historic wrestling venues of all time. 

The promotion revealed on Wednesday that it will make its debut in Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall on Thursday, October 12, 2023. 

GCW is currently in Japan for two shows from Tokyo’s Shin-Kiba 1st Ring. Thus far, all of GCW’s shows in Japan have taken place in the venue. They ran two shows there in 2019, three in 2020, and another three in 2022. 

Wednesday’s GCW Planet of Death 2023 will air on FITE TV beginning at 7 p.m. Eastern time. The lineup for the show is as follows:

  • Jun Kasai vs. John Wayne Murdoch
  • Masha Slamovich vs. Masashi Takeda
  • Shigehiro Irie vs. Shane Mercer
  • Blake Christian, Gringo
  • Ciclope, Miedo Extremo, & Jimmy Lloyd vs. Violento Jack, Toshiyuki Sakuda, & Takayuki Ueki
  • Charli Evans, Sawyer Wreck, & Rina Yamashita vs. Daisuke Masaoka, Yuko Miyamoto, & Isami Kodaka
  • Joey Janela, Blake Christian & Gringo Loco vs. Toru Sugiura, Takashi Sasaki, & Tomoya Hirata
