**********

Tony Deppen defeated Billie Starkz, Jordan Oliver, Yoya and Steve Scott in a five-way scramble match

We kicked things off with all five competitors already in the ring and things got started quickly.

Oliver and Deppen worked together in the opening moments, until they were both taken out by a DDT from Yoya. Fast action after that with Oliver getting the first near fall off a brainbuster on Scott.

Deppen and Oliver’s alliance broke as the two of them ended up in the ring alone together at one point. Scott then got a two count off a sit down power bomb on Yoya. Shortly after, Starkz got a two count on Oliver after a swanton.

They had one series where they did a tower of doom spot with Oliver and Scott both then giving Yoya coast to coast dropkicks in the corner. Deppen then hit Starkz with a Death Valley driver for a two count.

After everyone dove on top of each other on the outside for a period, Yoya then climbed the speaker system. He dove off and onto everyone below. He did this right in front of a sign that said, “No Stage Diving” in Harpo’s.

Scott got a two count from a Falcon Arrow and a running knee on Oliver. The audio then cut out here. Oliver hit his Clout Cutter on Scott but Deppen tossed him to the floor and stole the pin to win the match.

Alex Shelley defeated Nick Wayne

The audio was still out as Nick Wayne and hometown favorite Alex Shelley made their entrances. They shook hands to start.

Wayne started to focus on Shelley’s arm early. The show then cut out for a few seconds and when it came back the audio was fixed. Shelley locked Wayne in a figure four here and Wayne began selling his knee after. The story then is that each of them have a damaged limb.

Wayne fought through his injured leg to get a two count on a fisher suplex. Shelley got his knees up on a swanton attempt and took control after that for a period.

Wayne eventually fought back into it and went back to focussing on Shelley’s arm.

Shelley got a two count after a DDT. He then locked in a crossface but Wayne countered into a pinning combination for a near fall. Shelley then hit another DDT and got the three count. It looked like Wayne’s boot may have been over the rope on the three count, it definitely hit the rope after the pin. The commentary team debated if his boot did cross over the rope or not.

Chris Dickinson defeated ACH

ACH locked Dickinson in a head scissors early. Dickinson fought back and ended up getting the first bit of sustained offense after. They exchanged chops for a long period shortly after this.

ACH then ended up in control after a head scissors and a big dropkick. He got a two count after a penalty kick moments later. They did a series where they each absorbed clotheslines from the other and kept coming. Dickinson then ended this by giving ACH a deadlift German suplex. This then led to him being in control of the match for a period.

ACH fought back and got a two count from a series of German suplexes. The audio cut out again at this point. The video then cut out for a period as well. Once we got back, the two were fighting on the outside. Dickinson gave ACH a dragon screw leg whip on the ring apron and began focussing on the leg after.

ACH is now selling his leg but gets back into it with a suplex into the corner. He got a two count after a brainbuster. Dickinson hit a another dragon screw shortly after. He then got a two count after a brainbuster as well. Then he locked in an STF on ACH and he tapped.

Dickinson got on the mic after the match. He told ACH to get back in the ring. He praised ACH, calling him one of the best wrestlers in the world.

BUSSY (Allie Katch & Effy) vs. ASF & Gringo Loco to retain the GCW Tag Team Championships

A nice pop for BUSSY as the champions made their way to the ring. A “F**k him up, Effy, F**k him up” chant rings out before the match gets going.

Effy and Gringo Loco started but after neither could gain a real advantage they each tagged out. After ASF entered the ring with a spring board 450 landing on his feet, Katch then tried to mimic him as best she could but basically just fell over the ropes into a hand stand. This got quite the reaction.

With both members of Bussy on the floor, ASF and Gringo dove on top of them. Gringo then missed a splash in the ring and Effy hit a TKO followed by a dragon sleeper. Effy then gave ASF a backbreaker and blew raspberries on his midsection. ASF really sold this like it was a painful offensive move.

ASF hit a hurricanrana on Effy and then Gringo hit a frog splash directly after. Effy kicked out at two after, however. Allie then came in and took out both of her opponents. She hit a double northern lights suplex for a two count.

Katch hit a superplex on ASF, held on and gave him a Death Valley Driver after. Gringo then hit her with a cutter from the tope rope immediately after. Effy then backed Gringo up into the corner and hit Under the Rainbow. Moments later, Gringo hit him with a sit down power bomb off the top. Katch reversed his pin so Effy was on top but then ASF hit Effy with a meteora. A lot of fast action.

The finish came when Gringo accidentally kicked his own partner, took the Sack Rider from Effy, and then a Doomsday Sack Rider from both members of BUSSY for a three count.

Joey Janela defeated Bandido

Janela came into this one selling his foot from his match last night where he was defeated by John Wayne Murdoch.

Competing “Let’s go Joey” and “Bandido,” chants rang out before the bell.

Before they even touched, Janela fell to the mat and sold his foot. As Bandido looked on concerned, Janela jumped up and attacked. He then ran the ropes to prove that his foot was not really injured. Janela then controlled the match early thanks to getting in the sneak attack.

Janela took a head scissors where it looked like he landed right on his head early. He then countered a spring board attack with an uppercut to regain control shortly after, however.

Bandido got into it with a twisting body press and military press slam. He then went on a sustained period of offense after this. Bandido got a two count after a frog splash, leading the crowd to chant for Eddie Guerrero. Some fans got taken out after a diving attack to the floor but Bandido gave one guy a big hug and he seemed to be having a good time with it.

Janela hit a reverse Spanish fly from the top followed by a German suplex as they got back in the ring. He would hit a big lariat moments later. Some more audio problems occurred at this time.

They ended up exchanging strikes in the middle of the ring. Bandido went for his rolling snap German but Janela countered. Janela would then get a two count from a piledriver shortly after. Janela then went up on the stage and dove all the way to the ring apron where Bandido gave him a cutter as he was coming down. Both men were down as “Holy s**t” chants rang out.

Bandido hit his rolling snap German but Janela kicked out. Moments later, Janela rolled up Bandido, grabbed the tights, and got the three count.

Janela flipped off Bandido after the match. Janela took a swig from a jug of something that someone had near ringside and the commentary team was somewhat concerned with what may have been in that jug.

The crowd chanted for Bandido after the match. This was good, a lot of fun.

Minoru Suzuki defeated 2 Cold Scorpio

A real dream match was next on the card. Suzuki made his entrance first, getting a really nice response. The commentary team brought up that Suzuki has wrestled more times for GCW than any other North American promotion. After Kaze Ni Nare finished playing, 2 Cold Scorpio came out to Jungle Boogie and a nice response from the fans as well.

Emil Jay spared no expenses with the wrestler introductions before the match, listing off the accolades of both competitors.

A “Murder grandpa” chant rings out as that nickname seems to be catching on.

They exchanged abdominal stretches early. Scorpio attempted head butting Suzuki but ended up just hurting himself. Not long after this, they began exchanging chops.

Suzuki trapped Scorpio in a triangle across the ropes and the match spilled to the outside after. They then brawled around ringside for quite awhile.

Back in the ring, Suzuki ended up in control, locking his opponent in an arm bar until they eventually got to the ropes. Scorpio fought back and hit a flipping leg drop off the second rope for a two count. He hit another dive off the top for a two count shortly after.

The two began exchanging strikes in the middle of the ring with Suzuki getting the advantage. Scorpio then hit a kick but missed a moonsault. Moments later, Suzuki hit the Gotch style piledriver and picked up the win.

After the match, the two shook hands and Suzuki held up Scorpio’s arm.

Several light tubes are set up in the ring as we await the John Wayne Murdoch vs. Hoodfoot match next.

John Wayne Murdoch defeated Hoodfoot to retain the GCW Ultraviolent Championship

They started a little slow but it picked up when Hoodfoot missed a charge and went straight into some tubes. He then turned around and hit Murdoch with a clothes line for a two count.

Murdoch then repeatedly broke some tubes on the back of Hoodfoot. Then on the outside of the ring he used the jagged edge of a broken tube to carve open his opponent’s head.

There was a pretty long sustained period of Murdoch just repeatedly hitting him with light tubes until finally Hoodfoot fought back. He then began hitting Murdoch with light tubes. This repeated for awhile.

Hoodfoot then broke a light tube across the chest of Murdoch with an elbow drop for a two count. Murdoch then locked in a crossface variation shortly after. Hoodfoot is really gushing blood now and the ring is a mess.

They then began exchanging strikes in the center of the ring when the FITE feed cut out briefly. When it came back on, Hoodfoot’s face is even gorier. He hit a Saito suplex for a two count. He then set up a pain of glass and went to suplex Murdoch through it but the champion countered. Murdoch then suplexed Hoodfoot through the glass and got the three count.

This was pretty exciting, very gory, but also really exciting.

After the match, Murdoch got on the mic and talked about Alex Colon calling him out last night. He said now it’s him calling Colon out. When he did, however, Murdoch scattered to the outside and challenged him to try and follow his deathmatch. This then led to Colon’s match being up next.

Alex Colon defeated Jimmy Lloyd to win the Extreme Championship

Lloyd was a replacement for champion AJ Gray. Gray tweeted he was stuck in Tennessee and hadn’t forfeited the title despite it being on the line here.

Colon hit a suicide dive and smashed Lloyd with some tubes early in the match. Moments later, Lloyd gave Colon a Death Valley driver through some glass that was set up. He then rolled him back in the ring and got a two count. After that, he started carving Colon open with some glass.

Lloyd fought back into it and broke some tubes across Colon’s mid section with a senton. A “F**k Ohio” chant was directed at Lloyd while he was on offense. Lloyd tossed Colon off the top rope and through a pane of glass at one point. He then continued to attack the champion with light tubes for a period.

Colon fought back and delivered a double knee strike through some tubes onto his opponent for a two count. Shortly after, Lloyd put Colon through another pane of glass.

Lloyd hit a big package piledriver for a near fall. Colon is really busted open now. They ended up brawling on the ring apron and Colon got the advantage. He then delivered a Death Valley driver through a pane of glass set up at ringside. He rolled his opponent back in the ring and under a pane of glass that had been set up earlier. Colon then went to the top and delivered a double foot stomp through the glass and onto his opponent and got the three count. Great ending.

After the match, Colon got on the mic but the audio had cut out by this point so I have no idea what he said. Murdoch got in the ring, however, and the two exchanged times on the mic. There had been audio problems all night. They then lost the video for a little bit. When it came back on, Murdoch was talking. The crowd did not seem happy with Murdoch. It then became clear that Colon had challenged Murdoch to a match tonight but Murdoch wouldn’t do it.

Eventually, Murdoch told Colon they would face each other on June 5 in Atlantic City in a Cage of Survival match. Both the Extreme title and the Ultraviolent title will be on the line.

We took an intermission while they set up the ring for the High Incident match.

The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe) and The Second Gear Crew (Mance Warner & Matthew Justice) went to a draw in a High Incident match

When we came back from break, two stacks of tables were set up in the ring and scaffolding was set up around the ring. Emil Jay clarified the rules, “the match will end when a participant is thrown through a table from the scaffold.”

They brawled around ringside to start. Mark tried twice to put Justice through a table in the corner but it just wouldn’t break. This led to a “F**k that table” chant until Jay ended up power bombing Justice through it. Somewhere in there, Justice ended up busted open.

They ended up brawling around ringside again and eventually spilling through several rows of fans. Finally, Mark and Justice began climbing the scaffold. Justice then gave Mark a Russian leg sweep off the scaffold and through two tables on the floor.

Everyone but Warner is busted open at this point. Justice jumped off the scaffold and onto everyone below. The brawl then spilled through the crowd, up the stairs and onto the stage.

Justice and Warner gave Mark a double chokeslam through a table on the stage. Briscoe then went after them both with chair shots. Warner ended up throwing Mark off the stage and through a table that Justice was on top of.

With the match back in the ring, a furious chair battle ensued. Jay and Warner were then set up on tables as Mark and Justice climbed the scaffold. Both wrestlers both jumped off the scaffold and onto their opponents below. The bell rang and an announcement was made. Since a member of each team went through a table, the match was declared a draw. All four stumbled to their feet with some trouble as the show came to a close.

They was pretty fun despite the inconclusive ending.
