GCW Life Goes On results: Champions retain, Tournament of Survival qualifiers

GCW wrapped up their second day of two straight pay-per-views in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Sunday at Life Goes On.
The show featured two title matches and two more Tournament of Survival qualifying matches as the promotion builds toward one of its signature yearly events.
Bussy (Effy and Allie Katch) survived the weekend as GCW Tag Team Champions after defending against Akira and John Wayne Murdoch. A scheduled title defense Saturday against the Second Gear Crew and the Briscoes was changed to a trios match after the Briscoes had to withdraw.
Extreme Champion AJ Gray returned to action and successfully defended the title in a six-way against Marcus Mathers, Axton Ray, Gringo Loco, Drago Kid and Cole Radrick.
Two more wrestlers qualified for the Tournament of Survival as Shane Mercer picked up a win over Jimmy Lloyd and Matt Tremont defeated Brandon Kirk. They join Hoodfoot and Slade who both qualified Saturday. Cole Radrick also earned a slot, albeit in a loss to the aforementioned Ultraviolent Champion Murdoch. Murdoch won’t be in the tournament, but was able to give out a spot.
In singles action, Joey Janela defeated Masha Slamovich, ASF defeated Alec Price, and Alex Zayne defeated Dante Leon while in tag team action, veterans The SAT (aka the Maximo brothers) got a win over Nick Wayne and Jordan Oliver.
Here’s the results from Saturday’s In Too Deep show, headlined by Janela vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey.
