Former WWE wrestler Ezekiel Jackson returning to the ring

At 46 years old, former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ezekiel Jackson is returning to the ring for one more run.

Jackson (real name Rycklon Stephens) posted a new YouTube vlog on Sunday documenting his training as he prepares to return to pro wrestling. He’ll be competing for indie promotion FWE at their Full Throttle event in Cary, North Carolina on Saturday, March 15. Jackson, who is accepting bookings, said he wants to have some fun and end his career on his terms.

“Hey guys, what’s up? Day one vlog, I’ll be doing a few of these leading into my first match back in a few years. I’m scheduled to be at FWE in North Carolina on March 15,” he announced. “So, you know, I continue asking myself if I ended my career the way I wanted — and for the most part, I didn’t. So I’ve always had that little bit of chip on the shoulder as to, I want to end this the way I want to. I’ve always had a bucket list of people that I would love to compete against. So we’re looking into scheduling a few things. I am accepting bookings, and this should be fun. I’m still big as hell, so I’m not worried about that. I do have to get in ring shape, so today started the journey — adding more of a cardio-based workout, adding some rowing, I will be getting in the ring [to train] a few times this week, for the next few weeks.

“So it should be a fun journey. I’m excited to see how this plays out [laughs]. Again, I’m looking forward to doing what I love. I’ve always loved professional wrestling. I’m a fan from the time I was eight years old. And I’ve traveled the world, faced a lot of amazing people. There’s some people that I would love to compete against that’s still out there. So here we are, new year 2025, I’m ready for this. Ready to have some fun. This journey is going to be fun. A few people are going to get to see what the Personification of Domination is all about that never got to see it in person. So here we go, 2025, let’s have some fun.”

Jackson was an Intercontinental Champion and ECW Champion during his WWE career, which lasted from the late 2000s to the early 2010s. He was a member of The Corre, a faction that was a spinoff from the Nexus. He’s wrestled as Big Ryck outside of WWE.
