August 2, 2006 Observer Newsletter: WWE roster, Great American Bash

While there have been several wrestlers put on the sidelines since the WWE instituted its wellness policy, both for drug test failures and health issues, the problems exploded over the past week with the Smackdown brand.
At press time, the scorecard read Dalip Singh (Great Khali), Francisco Pantoja Islas (Super Crazy) and Bobby Lashley out of action due to elevated liver enzyme counts, ref Jimmy Korderas out for health related reasons, and Matt Hardy and Dave Cash (Kid Kash), 37, have been suspended for 30 days. Neither Hardy nor Cash have any known medical issues to cause their disappearance for a month, despite reports elsewhere, nor was Cash suspended for anything related to behavior. There were rumblings on 7/25 that there were a couple of more names that would be added to the list and put on suspension after TV, believed to be all on Smackdown, and there were none to be added from the Raw brand.
