WWE NXT’s Toni Storm comes out as bisexual

During a takeover of WWE NXT’s Instagram stories Tuesday in celebration of Pride Month, former NXT UK Women’s Champion Toni Storm came out as bisexual.
Storm, wearing a hat adorned with rainbow-colored pom poms, said when it was announced that she was taking over NXT’s Instagram for Pride Month, she was asked if she was an ally or a member of the community. She said it was both and that it was a good a time as any to reveal the news.
“I’m bi and it feels good to say it,” she said.
Storm added that she has been comfortable with it for a very long time, but just never really expressed it or found the right time to do so.
In a series of videos, Storm talked about being comfortable with who she is and asked several talents like William Regal, NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez and North American Champion Bronson Reed what Pride Month meant to them.
Born Toni Rossall in New Zealand, the 25-year-old started her WWE run in 2017. She won the 2018 Mae Young Classic and the NXT UK Women’s title, holding it for most of 2019 before losing it to Kay Lee Ray. She was part of the 2019 Survivor Series NXT women’s team and was also in the 2020 Royal Rumble. She has been with NXT since October 2020.
A member of the community and an ally. Thank you for sharing this with us, Toni Storm. We couldn’t be more proud. #Pride#PrideMonth#WeAreNXT
