WWE NXT demo rating up despite presidential debate competition

Tuesday night’s WWE NXT episode averaged 628,000 viewers on USA Network, down 0.5 percent from last week. It’s the third-highest audience total the show has done since July 23.

NXT drew a 0.19 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 11.8 percent from last week and ties the best rating the show has done in that category since July 16.

The show aired head-to-head against the presidential debate between candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, which averaged more than 67 million viewers across various channels on both broadcast and cable networks. The debate began at 9 p.m. Eastern.

As compared with the same week in 2023, NXT’s overall viewership was down 26.1 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 26.9 percent. It’s the seventh week out of the last nine that the show has had a year-over-year decline in both categories.
