WWE NXT viewership up, 18-49 demo rating down

Tuesday night’s WWE NXT episode averaged 639,000 viewers on the USA Network, up 3.6 percent from last week. It’s the largest audience total for the show since July 9.
In the 18-49 demo, NXT drew a 0.16 rating. That’s down 5.9 percent from last week and ties the third-lowest rating the show has done in that category since April 30.
The show went head-to-head with coverage of night two of the Democratic National Convention, which aired on various broadcast and network channels and dominated the TV charts.
As compared to the same week in 2023, NXT was down 11.3 percent in total viewers and down 15.8 percent in 18-49. It’s the sixth straight week the show has had a year-over-year decline in both categories after a stretch where it was up 65 out of 66 weeks.
