WWE NXT viewership down from Great American Bash, demo rating up


Tuesday’s NXT averaged 582,000 viewers on the USA Network, down 1.9 percent from last week’s Great American Bash episode. It’s NXT’s second-lowest audience since May.
NXT finished 21st on the cable charts with a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 16.7 percent from last week and ties NXT’s second-highest rating in the demo since January 4.
NXT was actually up in every single age group with the exception of people over 50, which explains the overall drop. The show was down 5.9 percent in that category to a 0.32 rating, which ties NXT’s third-lowest rating of the year in its best demo.
The show had a huge increase with younger viewers. Females aged 12-34 were up 100 percent from last week to a 0.08 rating. That’s NXT’s best rating in that demo since January. Males 12-34 were up 200 percent from last week, drawing a 0.12 rating. That’s NXT’s second-highest number in that demo since October of last year.
As compared with the same week in 2021, NXT was down 17.5 percent in overall viewers and down 26.3 percent in 18-49.
