WWE NXT viewership down, demo rating up against State of the Union

Tuesday’s episode of NXT averaged 551,000 viewers on the USA Network, down 10 percent from last week. This matched the lowest viewership for the show in almost two years on USA Network.
Although the overall viewership was down, the 18-49 demo rating was a 0.13, up 8.3 percent from the previous week. Despite the gain, NXT fell all the way to 70th on the cable charts due to cable news dominating the ratings between coverage of the war in Ukraine and President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, which aired head-to-head with NXT.
Detailed demo ratings are not available since NXT fell outside the top 50, but it would be expected that the over 50 viewership would be down given that the show declined overall but was up in the demo.
As compared to the same week in 2021 when NXT was still airing on Wednesdays opposite AEW Dynamite, the show was down 20.4 percent in viewership and down 35 percent in 18-49.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo numbers for USA Network airings of NXT. This week’s show was down 10.4 percent in viewers but was even in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
