WWE NXT video highlights: Zoey Stark vs. Cora Jade

Last night’s NXT saw Zoey Stark pick up significant momentum heading into Heatwave.

Stark defeated Cora Jade in the main event of last night’s NXT. Stark then was able to avoid an attack by NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose after the match. Stark saw the attack coming, laid out Rose, and posed with the NXT Women’s title belt.

Stark will challenge Rose for the NXT Women’s Championship at Heatwave next Tuesday.

Near the end of the main event, Jade went to hit Stark with a kendo stick. But Roxanne Perez pulled the weapon away when Jade tried to get it. Perez then chased Jade with the kendo stick following the match.

Perez vs. Jade has been added to the Heatwave card. Carmelo Hayes vs. Giovanni Vinci for the North American Championship has also been confirmed for Heatwave, along with a street fight between Tony D’Angelo and Santos Escobar. If D’Angelo wins, Escobar will be banned from NXT. If Escobar wins, Legado del Fantasma is free from the D’Angelo family.

Bron Breakker vs. JD McDonagh for the NXT Championship will also take place at Heatwave.
