WWE NXT video highlights: Shirai vs. Ripley, WarGames build

The NXT Women’s Championship was on the line as two of the top stars on the brand faced off last night.

Io Shirai retained the NXT Women’s Championship by defeating Rhea Ripley on last night’s episode of NXT. After powerbombing Ripley through the announce table, Shirai followed up with a moonsault to get the win after Ripley beat the count back in.

After the match, Shirai and Ripley shook hands and hugged.

It was announced last night that NXT TakeOver: WarGames will take place on Sunday, December 6. Undisputed Era made their return in last night’s main event segment and will face Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch in this year’s men’s WarGames match. The women’s WarGames match will see Shotzi Blackheart and Candice LeRae captain teams as they face off against each other.
