WWE NXT video highlights: MSK debut

A new tag team debuted as the 2021 men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic kicked off on NXT last night.
Former Rascalz Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz debuted with new names and defeated Isaiah “Swerve” Scott & Jake Atlas to advance to the second round of the Dusty Classic. Xavier & Wentz are now using the name MSK as a team, Xavier’s new name is Wes Lee, and Wentz is now Nash Carter.
It was announced last month that Xavier & Wentz had signed with WWE. Their farewell to Impact Wrestling aired in November.
Two other men’s Dusty Classic first round matches took place on last night’s NXT. In the main event of the show, undisputed Era’s Adam Cole & Roderick Strong defeated Breezango. The Grizzled Young Veterans also defeated Ever-Rise
Pete Dunne appeared to emerge as NXT Champion Finn Balor’s next challenger. Dunne, Oney Lorcan, and Danny Burch confronted Balor and attacked him until Undisputed Era made the save. Dunne, Lorcan, and Burch then took out Kyle O’Reilly at ringside while last night’s main event was going on. Balor tried to help O’Reilly but was also laid out.
